My fav part is the Paul Bunyan statue

I used to like having pregnant heroes in stories but the whole "giving birth during the climax" is predictable and old

I picked up this book because of the western elements but it REALLY reminds me of The Gunslinger. Like apart from the western setting our main characters are trekking across the land to find a character they call THE MAN IN BLACK! Coincidence? I think not

This was marketed to me as horror but it's not.
