I do not like the dialogue but I am still reading it - it’s an interesting take on r*pe culture I think.

Catching my eye, ballet + aids crisis. New York + Ohio.

This book…was so so so good. A true page turner, absolutely kept me hooked and gave me an ending that I didn’t expect. But absolutely makes sense. I love all the toes throughout the book foreshadowing to future events. Really really cool!

Okay I read that really quick - she kills JANET AND EATS HER FEEDS HER TO HER HUSBAND

This read is so captivating, at each moment you’re thinking about the narrator’s point of view, her stupid decision’s, how you’d feel in her shoes. And then it starts to get scary… EEEK

Really honing in on the what it means to be a girl in society. “I wonder if anyone will ever listen to me” “nothing you do will ever be embarrassing because you’re not a girl” etc.

Incredibly relatable read in regards to the service industry, although Jake is written so ridiculous lmao. At the same time I get it 😂
