World building so thick this feels like I’m reading a history book

The book starting with a relationship between a 17 year old and a 30+ year old I forgave because it was clear the main was hella toxic.

So why is the next relationship that’s starting up ALSO with a 30 year old??

And her repeatedly saying the guys her age were too boyish for her. What is happening??

Do I know what’s going on? No. Am I enjoying it anyway? Also no.

Going to try and push forward anyway…

The way I was UNPREPARED for the audio narrator to be the actual voice of Ghostface?? Oh my god???

Cute so far but confused over the weird breaks in paragraphs, or missing breaks to differentiate who’s speaking. Seems like an editor issue.

Not loving this as much as expected. I think this would have worked better as single POV bc Brady’s entire monologue is a little too immediately obsessed.

Lactose Intolerance being a thing in this world was just so out of place and funny.

Immediately interested in the plot but fighting a lot of repetitive language that’s making my eye twitch.

The MC in this is the most boring character to read. Dropped in a fantasy world and he just seems to adapt perfectly and understand overly quickly and is sooooooo good at everything and is soooooooo smart.

Wanting to quit but I’ve already committed so much time to this audiobook. But there’s still 9 hours left 😭

Excuse me why tf are we suddenly throwing in that humans have “soulmarks” that indicate if you have a fated mate?? Is this book just an amalagamation of whatever the author was thinking at the time??

Chapter 46 may be one of the most insane things I’ve ever read. Good God what the FUCK.
