I am enjoying this but I read 20 pages at a time, get bored, don’t pick it up for 2 months but I also can’t stop thinking about continuing when I’m not reading it???
I’m confused

I am kind of just over this. I don’t feel compelled to keep reading.

This was one of my most anticipated releases and I am afraid

I do also think Emile is stupid?? And also I hate the trope of “rich people become servants and realize how mistreated they are and how hard the work is so I’m going to treat MY servants better when I get back to my REAL life”
And also “they wouldn’t treat me like this if they knew who I really was” bro shut up you RAN awAY

I do think I’m having a good time?

Like both??? I’m going to keep reading it??
Maybe I’m just confused about whether this is a genuine historical setting or a parallel historical setting but there are some inconsistencies that I’m noticing or just weird interactions that don’t seem to fit with the time period.

This book gets one more try out of me because it just sounds so interesting and I liked it enough to read 100+ pages the first time I just lost interest
