really get all the people who says this is practical magic (the movie) in book form because the vibes are vibing

feels good getting back into this after the summer

i get that this series is supposed to be more of a stand-alone series than a part of the overall shadowhunters universe, but i do wish it would stop over-explaining and recapping the plot of tmi and who everyone is every few pages as if 98% of readers haven't also read tmi...

every time zara appears i'm hit with such a wave of hatred which is pretty funny because somehow i'd managed to repress her entire existence until her first scene in this book lmao

while i do enjoy this book..... it has no business being 500 pages

my memory of this particular book is actually abysmal.... a million dollars and i could not tell you 5 things that happens
