It was cruising along pretty nicely and then the author thought that introducing a bunch of arcane formulas was a good idea. In audiobook format this is more than a little frustrating.
I’m not sure who he’s writing for, it would be a slog for the general public and it’s too basic for academics in the field. Maybe students of neuroscience? But he spends a good chunk of the first half denigrating neuroscience.
