This has such bad ratings, I have to try it.

Do we really need everything explained over and over in every book? Harry is a wizard, Harry has a bad relationship with the Dursley’s, Dudley is a bully, Hogwarts is a wizarding school, Slytherin and Gryffindor hate each other, Malfoy is a bully, Quidditch is a game played on broomsticks with 7 members on each team, what the team does, how big each ball is... 3 books in, I GET IT!

I can't and won't be rating the Harry Potter books. As an adult I can see all the plot holes, plot conveniences and the over simplistic writing which the intended audience probably wouldn't pick up on or care about. I'm surprisingly enjoying them though, at a "this is quick and fun" level.

I’m surprised at how much of this I remember from 1997, and I guess I must’ve seen the movie at some point too. I’m also surprised at how angry I am at them all accusing Snape. Stupid kids.

Oh my god. I searched this as a joke but it’s actually on here. All of the 5*s, a hundred times over. My all time favourite thing ever.

Controversial opinion: I don’t enjoy Harry Potter. I started reading the Harry Potter series as the books were released. #1&2 took forever for me to get into, I loved #3, #4,5&6 were too long and I never finished #7 (I read 1 chapter). I hated the movies because Daniel Radcliffe is the most boring, wooden actor ever. So why am I starting this series again now? Who knows... it’s on kindle unlimited tho.
