Glad to be out of Vegas. hope this chapter in New York is more uplifting

Sneaking in reading time while waiting out my daughter in the battle of bedtimes

Starting to understand why people say this book drags in the middle. Glad to have breaks from reading it that come as a result of returning and waiting for it from the library.

one good thing about bedtime battles; the chance to read a few pages while practicing leaving the little one alone for a few minutes at a time.

Feeling restless and unfocused, so started another book instead of writing reviews or continuing to read Goldfinch. Although, I need to pick up Goldfinch from the library again

slowly making progress.

I think that a dark turn is in process

Nothing quite undermines your goodreads credibility like a grammatical error in a review. Ugh!

After book club discussion and mixed reviews, not as motivated to finish. Curious enough to keep trying though :)

first glimpses of redemption

feel hungry each time I read this book; such good food descriptions.
