I have just had the most visceral reaction to this book. The father? TRASH. Throw him away.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but oh my god this is the least sexiest sex scene I have read in a very long time. There is NOTHING sexy about the relationship these two have with each other. It’s so forced.

I should’ve guessed. Of course, I picked up a book with one of my least favorite tropes.
Oh well. I’m in it now.

Getting Beauty and the Beast vibes with an Amy Lee looking main character. Color me intrigued.

DNF. These characters read like they are both in their teens when they are supposed to be adults. I’m sure this is supposed to be a “clean” romance but the character interactions are taking me out of the story with how juvenile they are. Not for me right now.

Welp, Eldas is an elf, not a fae. But STILL! I am living for this budding relationship. I’m a bit concerned that i’m over 60% and things are moving a little too slowly for a standalone.
