On to chapter 2! (The typeface is pretty small for such a large trade paperback!)

Yeah, I like it. Erickson himself said it might take the first 165 pages (or 1/3 of the book) to decide whether you will love or hate the series (he also said there was no room for middling feelings). Well, Steve, it's all right. I don't need another 123 pages. I'm all in now!!

Had to start it; my curiosity has been incredibly high for a long time now!

Though, I also wanted to mention, for me at least, reading multiple books/series at the same time really isn't any different than keeping the plotlines of multiple TV shows straight. People rarely watch only one show at a time per season; I'm just using the same mindset for literature!

Loving this book! It's fantastic(al) on so many levels—there are layers of multidimensionality I'm not able to wrap my head around yet, but the back and forth is really working for me!!

Pretty funny so far!

I'm 9 books behind for my 2012 goal; I might not make it, but I've definitely picked my pace back up! -- might be sci-fi/fantasy/YA from here on out this year; those are typically quicker reads than lit. fiction!!*
