hate it or love it for jj abrams involvement...you still have to give it credit for originality. you're ultimately reading 2 narratives. first the "ship of theseus" written by a mysterious fictional author. the second - two strangers communicating to each other in the margins of the book. I hope the quality of content lives up to the novelty. its entertaining so far.
