'Boy' is quite enjoyable.
Unlike most of Dahl's work, this is an endearing, yet sometimes unglamorous chronicling of his early life--with particular attention to his experiences throughout the variety of private and Prep schools.
If you're already familiar with the hard-nosed standards and hazing of early 1900's Prep schools, especially in England, you'll find little surprise in some of Dahl's illustrations.
