Oh, this is a fun and interesting universe! The engine for their spaceship is a god. Literally. They have a god chained down and forced to power their ship. They activate ship's systems by praying to their own god... a god who is conspicuously absent and requires faith.
But their Holy Empire has begun losing battles... losing faith? As their god encounters a potentially unbeatable group of other gods. And it's scfi!
