Finished Book 3: The King Stag

This one was slower than the other sections I found.

There's one scene involving an axe in front of King Arthur's throne that I think will haunt me for a long time.

One more book to go, and I'm kind of terrified to see who is left standing by the end.

Finished Book 2: The High Queen

Every debate about morality the Merlin has with any of the Christian characters is pure gold.

Finished book 1: Mistress of Magic
So far so good. I absolutely love the setting of Avalon and Cornwall and Londinium, they feel so real.
I'm also very much enjoying the time spent among the Druids, I definitely want to read more about the pre-Christian Celts.
This massive volume was pretty daunting to pick up, so completing book 1/4 is a fine accomplishment.
