This is such an odd book, but I am enjoying it and really like a lot of the characters. I'm just going with the weirdness, I am a sci-fi girlie, after all.

I have to read this on odd bursts because it is so raw and emotional.

I keep forgetting this book exists and then I forget about it when I've read some of it. I'm curious to see how it goes, but meh... The writing is kind of a mess.

It started off promising-ish, but got very weird, very quickly. There are so many anachronisms, I'm getting twitchy at times. And the term for "unknit" is "tink." "Knit" backwards.

I'm picking this back up after ages.

I think this is a book I'd prefer to do as an audiobook... or maybe I just want it to be Cake Eater?

I forgot I had checked this out, so I'm trying to finish it quickly before it is due. It is interesting so far. I always like an Erik Larson book.
