I'm loving these girls. It's YA drama contained in a love letter to NYC.

This book is weird but fun. Feels like the author sweated over every description and someone constantly leaned over his shoulder commenting.
"Pump it up, Marc! The kids want pizzazz!"

Well, I'm quite liking this. A corporate owned dystopic ad-driven virtual world seems less SF than an alternate history.

Especially well done so far - the way other folks using a technology pressures you to use that technology even when it isn't something you want or need.
Also, I like these characters - they seem decently round even if Eileen kind of seems like the mom from "Requiem for a Dream".

so far this a series interesting heists in amazing settings with clever characters. Almost too much crammed into the story, so great ideas get little exploration.

thrilling and terrifying and dispiriting. the characters from silk and cyanide or sweet tooth couldn't have predicted the child could grow into this octopus monster
