I am at the moment finding the transition to careing to fast, and the sense of fighting and being well matched more "tell" then "show".

My access to the audiobook from the library expired. I wonder if I'll be able to have access before urban planning book club?

Long-winded and repetitive enough that it is hard for me to focus. Though I do suppose it is true that I really don't need anyone to convince me that quantity demanded is a function of price (if consumers are price takers). Maybe if this wasn't one of my main frameworks for viewing the world since age 17 I might need more words about it?

Also it is hard to pay attention to contrasting details of planning handbooks.

After reading some reviews, I can't help but think that "The Empress of Salt and Fortune" is a better woman moves beyond treatment as a thing to become badass Chinese-inspired Empress story. Maybe partly because the point of view character is not the one doing the plotting, and so the details of the Empress's motivations can be left a bit more unspoken. It would be fun if I could turn my brain off a bit more.
