Forgot to update but this book has been a wild ride! Will finish tonight 💪

Shiori girl wth are you doing

Oh she’s a sneaky gal

Sanderson has this way of writing that is incredibly intriguing but also a bit of an info dump. His books are the only ones that I simultaneously enjoy but also need to take breaks from. As such, I’ll only be picking up from this point once I’ve got the time to spend on it, lol.

I’m not crying you are

25 pages to go! I can already tell I need the second installment in my hands asap

Oh shit

The characters are all so flawed but I can’t bring myself to hate any of them. Not just the three perspectives we read from, but the other characters as well. They feel real. These characters might be the most three-dimensional ones I’ve ever encountered.

IM SO STOKED

The way the author wrote the three protagonists’ lives to be so interwoven yet so separate is impressive! And while some books struggle to give each pov a unique voice, Deva Fagan manages to make her tri-perspectives distinct and very recognizable.

The pacing is so good???
