i’m in love and obsessed. it’s taken me over a month to lock back in on this book and despite me going back into a reading slump this book peaks my interest. i love an unreliable narrator that i am ment to hate. she is horrible and selfish and obsessed with sex while being so male centered and yet i keep eating it up. if i wasn’t so passionate about food i wouldn’t like it much

ok i’m getting bored let’s spice up the plot a bit. i think id be more invested if i read it physically instead of audio book but its a nice background book for now, especially listening on 1.25x speed lol

HATE HIGS!!! i loved him so much at first now he’s just a DAWG and not a starry one! i have like 45 pages left and there’s no redeeming him. i just know they’ll portray it as a love story and leave out his internal dialogue to safe face

4/5 so far. it would be 5/5 if hig didn’t start thinking all neanderthol once he saw a woman. typical man ugh. the dog dying so early on pissed me off at first but now i’m glad i didn’t grow a closer bond with him and cry at the end lol

lovvvveee love so far. i love how she’s insufferable and arrogant. im excited to get to more of the killing lol. the descriptions of everything relating to food porn is so entertaining and immersive as someone who loves to cook
