This isn't necessarily a spoiler because the plot hinges on the main character committing suicide in the first few chapters. I thought I could handle that aspect, but it's just too hard. Too fresh for me. Putting this book down for a few years...

Nope. As many times as I have opened this book, I refuse to participate in the last entry in Cut & Run series. I want to remember Ty and Zane right where I left them. No pretty happy ending. Just two sexy, troubled men working their way through loving each other one step at a time. Maybe someday I'll be ready for them to settle down...

Holy crap! I love John Scalzi for so many things (starting with Redshirts), but this opening story of a new series has some of the juiciest political dialogue I've ever read. I would give my left eye to see Princess Amidala outmaneuver the Emperor while talking smack the way Mother and daughter team, Huma and Kiva Lagos do.

Was so excited, I started watching the series on Netflix. So many scenes are happening out of order, I decided to put the book down for now. Claire is pretty much as I hoped she would look and sound... I'll get back to the book after the season ends.
