This is serious life changing literature. An incredible perspective on understanding and managing OCD; a gap between the mind and the physical biochemical imbalance.

With the slowness of the beginning of the book in the past, the book is surprisingly picking up pace again. Again - it’s nothing incredible. Just a solid, quite predictable read so far. I’ll be curious to know what this “big twist” is about.

Dialogue is terribly cheesy. Don’t know if I feel like reading much more…

“It’s SO hard to find good help” - do… do we mind using another line? Is this supposed to be cringey? Idfk

These over-descriptions are terrible. How many times can we say the same thing?? Yes she trashes the house we fucking get it.

Noticed multiple instances (2 so far) of where the author repeats themselves about the same thing very shortly after just saying the same thing.
The cleaning the bathroom with the caked on toothpaste - the “oh I can’t tell her I got evicted, oh yea so I can’t tell her I got evicted” like you just said that, why describe it right after just describing it. This writing is losing me - how was that overlooked?

Pretty decent introduction so far - the writing is nothing crazy, but it ls written in a very approachable way. I can easily get lost in it for how simple of a read it is.

Such a simple concept of a story and yet it’s filled with so much life and depth from these letters. I’m just in love with it.

Beautiful writing too. Just great description.

So so good. Slow to start but once you get into the meat of Sybil’s character it really picks up.
