This book has me so stressed. EVERYONE is hiding a secret and I fear a betrayal is coming and I’m about to take it personally.

Also I love the FMC and MMC so much I need them to be okay my sweet baby angels😭

So I’ve basically highlighted all of chapter 31 and now I’m in a puddle of my own tears😭

I am Reese and Reese is me. Easily my favorite FMC in the entire Windy City series.

The second half of this book makes up for the first half THANK GOD.

“With your stupid big body and your stupid big heart.” Why is this coming across SO cringe to me?! I cannot wait to finish this book so I can move on. It’s OKAY, but lacks so much depth.

This has been very disappointing so far.

1. I want to kill King Midas with my bare hands.

2. I want to climb King Ravinger like a tree.

That’s been the duality of my reading experience thus far.

I forgot how absolutely addicting MKR’s writing is. Hooks me right out the gate.

Loving this on audio so far. Still have ZERO clue where this story is going.

Kaid, Kaid, Kaid. The way this man yearns and burns for this woman. This slow burn is killing me in the best possible way.

It’s good but having no real plot is throwing me off. May need to revisit this one when I’m more in the mood for a slower buildup of a read with focus on characters.
