Mason Fosnaugh is finished with The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1)
Statistic Character: The statistic character in my book is Jason, because he keeps the same type of tone from the book. For example this is him from the beginning of the book, " 'Where's who?' Jason asked.". This is closer to the end of the book, " 'Fine', Jason said. 'Now, let's fight.' " The tone of Jason says the same throughout the book, meaning he is the most statistic character. This shows proof of my point.

CHARACTER VS SOCIETY: Jason is feeling scared and nervous when he is going on the quest because he has a lot on his shoulders. He wants people to help him as he goes on his quest. It states, " 'I'm super nervous!' said Jason". When Jason tries to help he just gets bombarded with questions and complaints from the other people in his group.

Predictions: Piper and Jason are on a quest with a giant and need them to betray their friend to get back her dad. I think they are going to fail and the giant will eat them. In the book it states, "You'll go on the quest. I'll be watching' the Giants said 'serve me and you both live. Fail me and I will eat you." This shows I think that they will fail and the giant will eat both of them.

Point of View: The viewpoint in Counting by 7s is first-person limited, seen through Willow’s eyes. This helps us grasp her emotions and thoughts, especially after her parents pass away. For instance, on page 360, she states, “I’m not brave; I’m just different,” highlighting how she sees herself. This Point of View makes her story feel more personal and emotional.

PROTAGONIST: The protagonist of my story is Willow Chance. She is a 12 year old girl whose heart is on a path of surprising, exhilarating, and without doubt amazing. She feels that she is an oddball and left out from the crowd. She is also an introvert which means she is a person who is quiet and shy. Friendship is one of the most important things in her life.

Counting by 7's is set in California in school. Evidence states that on page 34, " 'This morning everyone will be taking a standardized test administered to all students in the state of California." This proves it because it says that it is standardised in California. Another thing it proves it is in school is it says, " ...taking a standardized test administered to all students...". It proves it is set in school.

Mason Fosnaugh is on page 216 of 304 of Becoming Kareem: Growing Up On and Off the Court
Genre: I think the genre of my book is a biography. The author of the book is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and the book is talking about him and the evidence of this is that he uses the first person. A quote from my book is on page 154, " I gave the teachers what they wanted, and in return I got what I wanted: straight As." This shows that it's first person and a biography because it has his life and pronouns shows evidence.
