A really cool world setup, but oh my god, there are so many names. In 5 chapters I’m pretty sure there have been more names than all of Mistborn Era 1.

Part 2 done.

So far I am enjoying this more than The Final Empire. We will see where the rest of it goes, but I am quite enjoying the political intrigue at the capital and adventure that Sazed and Marsh are going on.

I really hate Silenus. That said, there is some cool world building in Part 3 and the back half once he reaches Hyperion is pretty interesting. I still wonder how reliable of a narrator Silenus is, but the religious allegory across all 3 stories so far is an interesting through line.
