Lulu is very interesting with her constant seduction of men. I want to know more of why she does this. Also Nector burning her house…crazy!

It seems like Eli could be Lulu’s biological father? I don’t think that’s fully true but Rushes Bear or Marie say that he slept with Fleur Pillager, who Lulu told Moses she was looking for because she was her mother and Moses’ cousin. So it seems like there might be some incest? Because Lulu has an affair with Nector, Eli’s brother; if this is true, her uncle

Wow, Marie giving Nector head after coming back after raging and cheating on her is insane. Also the way he put all the money down and she just acquiesced and went with it. Wow

Here, Marie Kapshaw describes June as she came into her life when she was 9 and living in the wilderness. She called her a manidoog—“invisible ones who live in the woods.” Lulu called Moses this, and he was also raised in a sort of wilderness as her mother cloaked him with death to protect him from the plague. They were both wild. I wonder how their gender defines them in others’ eyes and affects them.
