Glad I decided to do this on audio, because while the history surrounding Alexander Mackenzie's search for the Northwest passage is fascinating and mostly unknown to me, it is INTENSE and I suspect I would have bogged down in the details while I am mostly here for the stories of smart people doing dumb things in small boats. Castner reads his research really well, though, so I'm enjoying the listening.
