End of book 1

I first/last read this in ~96 and I remember almost nothing about it

This book is a product of its time. In other words there are casual racial slurs I was not expecting.

Yesterday I accidentally read some of the summary from the back of the book which gave away more than I wish it had

I read the old version twice but this is my first time reading the 10th anniversary/author's preferred text version.

I remember shockingly little of this book from the last time I read it.

Every time I re-read this book I get the Boom-de-yadda song stuck in my head for days
