I know the twins are odd. I could have inferred their relationship BUT i did not need this many uncomfortable and incestuous scenes THIS early on....especially in a YA 😑

taking a break from this, very informative and amazing but alas it was due a while a go :/ And this is the kind of book that needs to be paced because it is so very heavy

This is taking me so long because it just keeps getting more disturbing. I do not need a "light at the end of the tunnel" from Bates but I could sure use one :(

seeing the connection between this book and the current societal climate is scary

this, coupled with my other books, is feeding my want for more dystopian literature (is it always that far off from the present, though?)
