So far so good enjoyable book

This book in gruesome and great historical detail follows the evolution of the German Chemical Industry from the mid 1800's through two world wars to when it's executives were put on trial for their complicity in helping supply Hitler's war machine. I especially find revealing the facts surrounding Auschwitz and the IG Farben cartel to be especially eye oepning, telling and gruesom.

prologue is fascinating and in the early stages of reading. book begins in the 1850's in a chemistry lab in london.

good history of Norman Borlaug key figure in green revolution.
