Okay...I don't think the wife knew. I think it is all about her finding out who her husband is/was. I think he killed people that interfered and eventually the fiance. Idk where the hell are we going with this god thing? It just seems out of place. Entering the final part. I think the biggest take away so far is that in theory the robots eventually kill their masters when they realize they are slaves....even they eventually evolve enough to realize that. It makes me wonder if our existence is just us running on a wheel with the theory that we are actually going somewhere
