This is not what I expected right from the beginning, but there’s no doubt it caught my attention. 😳

In this chapter she really explains the dynamic between her and Philippe. She’s young, gone through a lot, hardworking and he’s older, with supportive parents, and does nothing with his life.

Chapter 14

Priest confides about how he wishes to become a father.

I’m very curious as to how this relates to the story and I liked the dialogue with the priest.

“If God is only love, he inevitably betrays: betrayal is part of love.”

Chapter 5

Why does she always refer to her husband in the third person? Quite interesting 😛

Got the feeling that the whole husband plot was a bit over the top, but still really enjoying the writing style!

Really love the way this is written in short chapters narrated by the main character.

Also crazy coincidence with Porto being mentioned and September 1st (my grandmas birthday and my first friends birthday and my anniversary with my boyfriend)!
