I’m writing this in the bath while drinking a very large beer because The Part About the Crimes is so overwhelming and exhausting. The redundancy isn’t getting to me it’s the content—the detailed, numb, cataloguing of femicides. I’m a huge horror; even extreme horror or splatterpunk, but historical fiction always hits me hard. This is real and I can feel that.
