SJM is not without her problems, but if I needed a reminder of how addicting her books are, this is it.

I keep telling myself that I'll make it through a chapter of this reread without wanting to cry. So far it's not working.

So much of the trauma and grief of this book went totally over my head the first time I read it, but now it's here, and it's making me feel so many deep, painful things in the best way possible.
