the better we are sensing our body’s signs of arousal (for example feeling our own heartbeat) the better we are judging emotions in ourselves and others. the insula, the seat of self awareness emphathy, and interpersonal experience helps us to understand others.It’s a gut feeling labeled as female intuition.
