I'm really enjoying this one.

It's hard to put down, this one. I don't feel particularly attached to any of the characters, but it's not exactly a character driven novel, so I can forgive it for that. I appreciate the diversity of the cast though. It's written to be a creepy page turner, which it manages well at this point.

I don't think I can with this one. I'm about 40% in and I still don't care about any of the characters. Feels like a pretentious romance novel, which is okay if that's the kind of thing you're into. It also does that single-woman-being-miserable-only-because-she's-single thing that I find infuriating to read. There's a lot of art and food in it, so if you like fiction on those themes it might be worth picking up.
