Her MOTHER đŸ€Ż made her sign a contract in her early 20’s that stated when her (and her brother) got married their respective spouses would have to sign a prenup 59 protect their assets and trusts. That’s the best idea I have ever heard and adding that to my parental list of duties.

Turns out There Are Rivers In The Sky was, in fact, not a fluke and this author is phenomenal
actually, ‘phenomenal’ isn’t even descriptive enough of how beautifully she writes.
I am heavily invested in a fig tree’s POV and this wasn’t on my 2026 bingo board.

This entire book is being read with my jaw on the floor. Star Wars and Dune walked so Pierce Brown could run with this. đŸ«

I haven’t laughed so hard at the beginning of a book since that b*tch choked on a pancake at the end of chapter 1 in Yellowface. This book is gonna be a BANGER I can already tell. đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„

Name dropping current literature gives me the ick. Same thing when Abby Jimenez kept name dropping ACOTAR characters in Say You’ll Remember Me. It makes me feel like they are writing books for social media clout, which grosses me out. This is like that but on steroids. I’m finding it tough to not DNF this

Housewives in the 1950’s watched unrealistic tv shows with “perfect American families”, similar to housewives in the 2020’s watching influencers lie about their “perfect” home life on social media. Same lie, different medium. Women are sadly still measuring themselves against unrealistic standards that are rooted in a facade that does not exist anywhere.
