So. I HATE. H.A.T.E. This book. I’ve cried more reading this book than I have reading well over 100 other books. @yelitza remind me to take this book when I visit. Or at least talk about it over some chilis margaritas. (p.s should I also complete the list because right now it just makes me want to get back with an ex and the list seems like a better alternative)

I hate this fuckass book. I’ve cried at least 4 times and it made me get mushy, nostalgic, and sad. (5/5 stars so far). Maybe not the book I should be reading. Being vulnerable here for a moment, I relate way too much to the main character as a serial monogamist 💀 maybe I too should follow along her 10 tasks to do while trying to find myself.

Should I keep reading? It is meant to showcase the struggles of men and while I do agree some are valid, the angry part of me says women are doing much better in certain roles because they must prove themselves as worthy.

I want to stop reading… it makes me dislike men even more. Why did I pick a book with a white, low key misogynist, upper middle class man as the main character? He starts viewing women as something he deserves to get the best of but also admits he’s kind of a loser with no personality. Ugh

Already teared up once, I never knew if it hurt more to be surprised and caught off guard when something bad was going to happen or knowing it was coming and being able to do nothing to stop it. Now I know it’s the latter

Audiobook so I can focus on work lol it was a random book I found on Libby, it's pretty interesting so far
