OMG I finished it. I started this series in January & BLAZED through the first 3 books. The 4th book was meh, lots of filler, didn’t move the plot. Started this book & STRUGGLED. Clearly, because it’s sat on my shelf for 10 months at 68% read😅 This series would’ve been a slam dunk if it was a trilogy. 5 books was just too much because I really did love the first three.

Uhm what did I just read??? I love dark romance and I LOVE a Hades and Persephone retelling, but what was this? Hades would NEVER. I usually don’t give bad reviews, but this one was not it for me. 2 stars😵‍💫

YALL I WILL FINISH THIS BY THE END OF THE YEAR, I can’t DNF it. I loved this series so much in the beginning but I feel like the last two books have dragged on SO MUCH and I’m literally at the very end and I just know how the last 30% of the book is going to go. But ya girl doesn’t quit.

I haven’t gotten to read this book as much as I want to because I’m juggling two series rereads (FBAA and Playing Favorites) and another interconnected stand alone (Fall of Ruin and Wrath) but tonight I’m dedicating the time because this is my favorite mafia romance series and I’ve been waiting impatiently for its release. Not ready for it to be over😩

Honestly one of my favorite moments from the entire series is in this book. JLA just does something to me, she can always tap into my emotions and I cry like a baby

Each book gets better and better. I am distraught I have to wait a month for the last book. And then I’ll be distraught because ITS THE LAST BOOK. I love this author and this world so much. It’s definitely a series I’ll reread.

This book is killing me. I started it in March and I keep putting it down to read others. I’m not DNF’ing it, but I HATE when a series goes to long and man is that this one. I enjoyed the first 3.5 books but the last half of the 4th and this one are just dragging so much 😩

As someone who has struggled with mental health for over half my life, man this book got me😭 it will forever hold a special place in my heart. I loved the characters so much and the story was both heart wrenching and beautiful.
