no fucking way we're re-explaining one of the basic powers 2/3 of the way through the third book in the series

it's giving "need to hit 200 words in the essay" for 600 pages

my guilty pleasure is reading these stupid fucking books and laughing at the dialogue

nah i love this

idk man, some of these chapters i literally can't keep track of what's going on... definitely feels like a book that would be best read as part of a class if that makes sense

holy shit was that chapter GOOD

russians have such long and silly names... genuinely hard to keep track of with the audio

i really like so far though

i swear to god this guy doesn't know how normal people talk to each other...

the brandon sanderson is very good turn brain off and listen at 2x speed material. once i've stopped expecting it to be especially good, it's delightfully fine

the writing will slip into excruciatingly punchable cringe for like two or three sentences once every chapter

its fine tho i still like this book

but my god... the occasional cringe is just as bad as it was in elantris and i am BITTER about that book still
