gotta say that I’m not a huge fan of the ‘fated mate’ trope in romantasy, it’s normally used as a shortcut to avoid relationship development .. making two characters ‘mates’ should not always be the solution when they don’t get along. also I’m 95% sure I already know who her mate is. but since this book has been REALLY good this far, I’m trusting it to do this ole trope some justice 🌝🌝
