I haven’t read enough to form any sort of opinion so far but the text in the book is literally so large I feel like I’m reading a Junie B Jones book ts has to be like 14 pt atleast

I cannot fucking believe that Atwood wrote this in 1984. Also the Introduction section is bone chilling.

taking a city via tunnels, a nameless king, taking stolen land back, the name sylina…..I am DISEASED. I don’t think i’ll ever be able to read another book again without comparing it to throne of glass and then getting disappointed when it doesn’t live up to throne of glass and then I ruin the entire book/series for myself …..

i wasn’t gonna read this bc i thought the name and cover were cringey but it’s kind of sucking me in so far
