I didn’t read anything today, wow.
This is a an achievement💪
Bc this year I was reading almost every single day from march ( I passed my exams)
And I feel sick when I wasn’t reading. Reading became a drug addiction for me….

I think today I will take rest from reading.
Will be doing something else or just relaxing.

Guess who quit uni, and now going to enter another one for another major?

Hard to realise I am no longer 16 or a teenager.

I don’t really need to remember everything here bc this is pretty straightforward adventure where you can just enjoy the process and relax. Like it doesn’t have complicated world building or like 100 characters.
Just little tale.

After asoiaf this is a really comforting thing.

So I get it.
George R.R. Martin is that cool ruthless uncle who teach you to trust no one and will take you to dangerous events.
And Tolkien is a caring grandpa who will cover you with a blanket when you sleep, make you cookies and teach you how to live this world honourably and find new friends.

I just feel how much I improved as a reader from last year. In 2023 I started reading intensively. And I was just reading every popular book or mb more like every book I saw.
Rn I read faster. Also I don’t make myself suffer anymore. I DNF books if I don’t enjoy them or there is no motivation for me to continue it. Rn I am more picky. I stopped reading genres I hate (romantasy with a lot of spice)

So I finished asoiaf in 2 weeks. And now I am going watch all of this video analysis ab the characters, their relationships, different theories and other stuff😋
At least with this series there is no lack of fandom or intellectual food to consume.
