was i so disappointed with the first? yes. am i still going to complete this series and give the second the benefit of the doubt? yes.

i despise the “dead ex” trope 😭😭 oml this book just has me through the trenches

alright, def taking a long break from finishing silver flames to read other stuff because i genuinely can’t get into it 😭 i’ll def start reading it again once the elain book gets announced

i think the biggest problem with this book is there’s not good world building and the characters are super flat and you barely see build up in their relationships to the point you can’t believe they genuinely like each other or you can’t care for them.

oh god this book is falling apart we started off with potential 5 star read but im predicting a 3 star rating now 😭😭 we’ll see if the next half can turn things around for me

the romance kind of isn’t hitting for me 😭😭 it feels very bland like no chemistry and like the pacing is too quick. like there’s no tension

at uni so binging as much as i can between breaks 😭

okay so far i’m eating this book up but one of my biggest reading pet peeves is excessive cussing in adult books because it’s giving middle schooler that just learned what the word “fuck” is 😭 love it so far but i swear on almost every page the f bomb is dropped

i’ve genuinely grown to hate feyre, rhys, and the rest of the inner circle so much oh my lord they’re so self absorbed, hypocrites, and have such black and white logic. at this point i only read for nesta and lucien 😭

i want this to be over 😭😭

this is so unrelated but i can’t stop thinking about LOA, Helion, and Lucien, and the fact that Lucien was the only child conceived out of love and it’s breaking my HEART
