Wow, this book has me in all types of feelings. The perspectives of Josiah and Yasmen is ground breaking filled with sadness, happiness, trauma, love and more. I’m in awe of how beautifully written the perspectives are in telling the story.

This book is written so beautifully, the friendship that is brewing between Sasha and Monique is refreshing to see.

I can tell I will love this book, Monique is relatable and a joy to read about. As a black girl that grew up in the Black Baptist church and the growing pains of that, I resonate already with this book.

The back and forth between Celine and Bradley makes me kick my feet, they are so cute
