I dream of doing a long thru-hike one day- specifically the Appalachian Trail. I’ve read several books on the topic, and I’ve enjoyed all of them.

I did not find this book inspiring, and I’m confused as to why this was made into a movie. I don’t really have a desire to watch it after having finished the book.

Oh well, not every book lands.

I have invested too much time to quit, but I can’t say that I’m enjoying this book. The only definitive mark of a “rebel” character is that they use foul language. Not loving the characterization in this one.

I’ve noticed in the last few books I’ve read that I don’t love the constant flip flopping between points of view.

As a kid, I checked this book out every few weeks on library day in elementary school. I decided to reread, and I have discovered that I love it just as much as I did back then.
