Despite her lack of quotation marks, I am really enjoying this book so far! It’s so personal. Like she’s holding up a mirror to your face and forcing you to reckon with your beliefs, morals, values, and ideals as a human being. It captures the human-ness of each character’s inner thoughts and circumstances.

The dolls are freaking me tf out… and it feels like so many moral predicaments go into play on being a mother and a human being… and to what capacity we need to be humane to things like AI 🤨

these books are always hard reads but for a must read bc her work is so comforting
