just got to the first kinda flirty part. cute.

how do people really give 5 stars to almost every book they read?

im gonna be honest the end of this book kinda boring me.

look i’m not one to usually nitpick details but the detective having to google olympia (literally the wa capital) despite her growing up here made me annoyed then im supposed to believe that all these teenagers drove 2+ hrs to astoria just for a motel party? hard to believe the author lives here when it seems like she should have opened google maps but didn’t even bother.

being a reader was a safe hiding space from trauma when I was child and over the last 2 years I have embraced it in a way of happiness instead of through a lens of pain. I get so giddy and proud of myself when I turn the final page on another story. a big loving thank you to books for consistently being a friend.

I just pushed a hold for a christmas book cause i was like “nah im not ready for that” but everyone on here is starting to read them and now im a little sad lol. fomo.

honestly loving this book. Romantic without trying too hard and love the feel of small Irish community.

I tried to ditch goodreads for storygraph. didn’t hit the same. I’m just trying to heavily stalk everyone’s good taste in books.

everytime i read 3 books at a time it makes me equal parts excited and equal parts self loathing

i feel like this story didn't flush out the past family history and at 64% done ive ran out of energy to care if anything in depth is said. dnf

this book is really pissing me off. castro was such a evil son of a bitch that he couldnt just be honest at the end.

im so happy these girls were rescued cause you can start feeling their last bits of hope starting to fade by this point in the book.

This book has felt so choppy with the death scenes that I find myself like zoning out and having to go back and reread.

These flashbacks feel so jumbled its kinda frustrating.
