As an exercise in style (ala Raymond Queneau), this is quite interesting, if a little too post-modern for its own good. If anything, it’s a little too obsessed with self-consciously clever prose almost to the point of showing off. I don’t mind clever, mind you, it’s the clever for the sake of clever that I find taxing. It’s a bit of a chore, really.
