This book is so wholesome 🥹

DNF - I know I've only just started and I'm barely through it but it's actually so painful to read.

The way it is written is confusing and changes wildly between 3rd and 1st person povs. I really don't like the footnotes and how much the author is relying on them to world build. The metaphors and similies every other sentence or not necessary and they're also poor making it more confusing.

I'm not currently loving this. I'm not a fan of the footnotes either. I'll give it a bit longer and see if it gets any better
