Sobering

Interesting- but not as interesting as if reading the stories themselves

The postmodern style can take a bit to get into each time you stop- the story is wrapping tighter and tighter towards destruction

Unusual and intriguing voice. Building sense of dread.

Becomes a bit repetitive and pretentious as it goes on, but still interesting

Really interesting- esp knowing the author isn’t a linguist and is merely sharing his love of Ireland - language, history, and myth. I do wish I knew how to pronounce the words he mentions- but even as a completely foreign non Irish speaker- I find it interesting

Not what I expected, but glad to be surprised
